Welcome to Mon Equine Body Essentials

Qualified Equine Massage and Bodywork Therapist through Equinology Institute
"I combine evidence-based techniques with real-world horsemanship to support comfort, movement, and performance"

1
Regular body work session
$85
Duration: 45 minutes to 1.5 hours
Tailored for your horse – no two sessions are the same.
The Equinology method is used alongside my own techniques, myofascial release and acupressure. Full body from ear muscles to limb muscles including stretches required for the horse's needs.
During the regular body work sessions, I will talk you through what your horses' muscles are feeling like and pinpointing where I get a repeatable reaction.
I go over muscles in all 3 layers of the horse, which is the deep, middle and superficial layers.
Add on a detailed report for $10 extra
2
Targeted body work session
$55
Duration: 30mins to 40mins
Tailored to target a specific area of concern on your horse. This is ideal for horses who have had 1 regular body work session and require more attention in between full sessions to a specific area. Please note targeted sessions require 1 or more horse to be booked at the same location otherwise travel fee applies.

3
Full assessment
$130
Duration: 2 hours
Comprehensive body work session which includes a trot up and/or ridden assessment prior to the body work session. Afterwards, you will receive a detailed report.
Horses do not always react the same to pain in hand and under saddle.
If your horse is experiancing pain-related behaviour under saddle then it is recommended that a ridden initial assessment is completed.
4
Pre purchase bodywork check
$150
You're in the process of purchasing a horse, however the report came back with mild lameness and you don't have the funds to explore further with x-rays? You can take a different angle and rule out muscles!
Did you know that if your horses' muscles are tight and/or sore, it may cause a shortened stride?
I am available to do a pre-purchase body work check, to note down where your horse is sore and provide you with a report to make your own conclusion with the information. I do not diagnose as this is in the scope of a vet. These sessions will only follow an initial vet check.
During this styled session, I will not be using the massage techniques and only investigating and palpating the 3 muscle layers of the horse.
The report will go to the purchaser and not the owner/seller unless otherwise stated. The owner/seller must consent to a pre-purchase body work check.
